About the Studio

The studio was founded on the belief that well-made furniture deserves more than one life.

My relationship with furniture began quietly—with a chair left to me by my grandmother.

What started as an act of curiosity became an education in structure, patience, and care. As each layer was removed and rebuilt, I began to understand that well-made pieces carry more than surface beauty—they carry intention, craftsmanship, and the possibility of another chapter.

With a background in engineering, the logic of upholstery felt intuitive. But it was my love of fabric, form, and proportion that ultimately shaped the work. Over time, I began creating one-of-a-kind pieces—thoughtfully restored, carefully reimagined—and sharing them through local shops and private commissions.

Today, the studio operates intentionally and at a human scale. This allows for focused attention on each project, respect for traditional methods, and the freedom to let every piece guide its own outcome.

The work is rooted in the belief that not everything old needs replacing. Some things simply need to be understood—then carried forward with care.

I approach each project with the same consideration I would give my own—because pieces worth saving deserve nothing less.
